ITALY PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS
Make Italy
Your Classroom
Small-group photography workshops led by Jeff Curto — 40 years
of professional and teaching experience, in the most beautiful
locations on earth.
– The Philosophy
Beyond the
picturesque
Every workshop is built around a simple idea: Italy gives you the light, the streets, and the history — Jeff guides you to your own personal way to see it.
Daily field instruction, evening critique sessions, and genuinely small groups — never more than seven photographers — mean you leave with transformed vision, not just filled memory cards.
Everything is handled from the moment you arrive: transport, accommodation, all meals and wine, guides and tips. All you carry is your camera.

Personal Vision, Not Postcards
The goal is to help you see beyond the picturesque and develop your own photographic story about these extraordinary Italian places.
What workshoppers say…
“I still tell my friends, and any photographer or aspiring photographer, that the Tuscany workshop changed my seeing mindset forever.”
Andrew A. – Tuscany Workshop
“Jeff’s workshop was incredible. His long experience with Tuscany — local photographic locations, people and customs — together with meticulous planning meant we were whisked from one spot to another with naught to worry about but what to photograph next.”
Keith B.
“What a lucky break I had in learning about this trip. Every moment was a delight. So many unexpected surprises — and the bonus of perfect weather every day. Jeff’s planning the itinerary and logistics was masterful.”
Genevieve M.

– About Jeff Curto
Photographer. Educator. Italophile.
Jeff Curto is a Professor Emeritus of Photography with more than four decades of professional and college-level teaching experience. He has been leading photography workshops in Italy since 2009, bringing the same rigor, warmth, and curiosity he brought to the classroom to the streets of Tuscany, Puglia, Venice, Umbria, Naples, Sicily and beyond. See more and contact Jeff here.
Jeff’s approach is built on a conviction that the most powerful photography comes from a deeply personal way of seeing — not technique alone. Workshops are structured to push every photographer past the postcard and toward their own visual voice.
