2020 Italy Workshops – Sold Out

The 2020 Italy Photography Workshops are Full! Three workshops, Tuscany, Umbria and Puglia - all filled from the advanced notice mailing list before the information went live on this website.

Over the next months, I'll share a steady stream of pre-travel information with the participants in each group. I'll send out regular communiques with tips on Italian travel and customs and on the medium of  photography and how we will combine our travels with our photographic and life interests to create great image stories of the amazing places we'll visit.

We're already in the early planning stages for the 2021 workshops. If you subscribe to my mailing list, you'll be able to reserve a workshop space before the information goes live on this website.

2019 Tuscany Photo Workshop – Student Slideshows

The 2019 Pienza, Tuscany Workshop Group

As it has been since 2010, the Renaissance jewel of Pienza in Tuscany’s famed Val d’Orcia was once again our base for what I think of as our “Classic” photo workshop. The lush landscape joined other locations like Montepulciano, the gardens at La Foce, the baths at Bagno Vignoni and more to give a full picture of Tuscany at its best. Check out the participants’ slideshows via the links below.

2019 Cortona Photo Workshop – Student Slideshows

What a week! A super great group of talented photographers spent a week in my home-away-from-home of Cortona, Tuscany. I think they fell in love with the place much the same way we have. Oh, sure… it was HOT, but we made great images and had a whole lot of fun. See below for their thematic slideshows of their work for the week.

2019 Sicily Photo Workshop – Student Slideshows

Our week in the Sicilian cities of Palermo, Trapani, Marsala and Segesta – and more – was fantastic. We traced the history of the island, through all of the invaders who left their mark on a part of Italy where the current residents are Sicilian first, Italian second. The workshop students create slideshows of their work, which you can see below.
